I went in to ask an opinion on what yarn to use for a thickly knit blanket. They seemed to have a decent selection of supplies. I got a long rant about how people shouldn't try any of the DIY crafts that are so trendy right now. Not what I needed. This was a good couple of months ago and has irritated me so much since that I decided to write a review. As someone who was trying to get into knitting, it was quite discouraging. Would not recommend.

The first words out of my mouth when I walked it were “Now this is a year shop.” I’ve been to a lot of different fiber supply stores and very few of them are this lovely. The location is ideal if you are traveling on the peninsula and need supplies or a new project or a souvenir or a gift for a fiber friend or even just some place to sit and knit/craft! Also, I ordered something from them over the phone and even though they were super busy when I called, they helped me and sent it that day!

Smallish shop with beautiful yarns. She carries some you cannot get other places. Lots of buttons available. The store is a few steps from the water - excellent views.
