I went to purchase pipe and fittings. I was initially going to buy online, but decided to check here. As far as prices go, the fittings were a bit more expensive than what I could find online (2 each for the elbows and couplers), but the pipe was cheaper than online, so it came out in a wash. And the folks that were working there were very nice and helpful. I am glad I decided to go!

Beam of St. Louis installed a central vacuum system with hide-a-hose and a Wally in our home. The hose connection outlets and all the behind-the-scenes parts were installed very professionally by two experienced installers after consulting with me about locations and uses. Kim, the sales consultant, knows her product inside-and-out (literally!) and answered all my questions. This is a first-class product, sold and installed by a first-class company. If you're considering a central system, don't bother with the other local companies that don't call you back, talk trash about their competitors, and price a lesser system at almost the same price as a Beam. Save yourself the time and irritation and call Kim at Beam. I couldn't be more happy with my system and my experience with them!
A company who truly respects and values its customers. We had recently purchased the Alliance line of Beam vacuum. During the process we had communication issues between the sales staff and its actual policy. The company stood by what the salesman had stated even though it was incorrect. We also had an issue with the inlet door on our system. Beam was unable to match the color of the door so they exchanged our entire system out. The owner Stuart came to our house when he realized we were upset at the way things were handled. He showed us how his staff had sat down, revaluated, and adjusted some of their policies to prevent future situations like ours. He then went further above and beyond to make sure we felt appreciated and valued by bringing us a car care kit. My wife and I were taken back at the sincerity of Stuart and his professionalism. The Beam Saint Louis company has been around for 35 years and continues to look for ways to better themselves and make their customers happy. It's nice to see a company whose service matches the excellence of their product.
I would like to thank Stuart Krawll for quickly responding to my posting of poor customer service. He quickly addressed the issue I posted on and completely took care of the problem I had with returning a new still in the box white vacpan for a black vacpan on a even exchange I have deleted my poor review and now am ready to recommend this business as a good place to buy your beam central vac systems thanks Stuart I appreciate your caring attitude toward the customer
Excellent vaccum picks up everything

So I tried to give this company the benefit of the doubt but now I can’t recommend them. They intially dropped the supplies off at my house in an unopened box without any assembly. I called to complain about it and the lady was rude and could care less. She acted like I was the one with an unwarranted complaint and said ‘you can’t install it?’ I told her no I’m not a handyman and I could find this entire unit on Amazon for 50% less than I paid for in a box. They wanted me to nail the hose attachments to my wall and assemble the vacuum and all the accessories. I have never used anything like this before. So after going back and forth with her she did have someone come. The wall units aren’t working to suction forcefully like a true vacuum. They did replace those but they still aren’t working. I have gone back to using my Dyson. This has been a complete waste of money. Save your money and either order it on Amazon or buy a Dyson!
