Good for kids
I love going here quite often I'm a mushroom hunter, and I like to study mycology. The man that lives in the house up here is super awesome, he thought maybe something was wrong with my car because I was sitting there and it was after dark so he came to check on me and make sure I was alright. Also to whoever sued him because you were where you didn't belong without permission you're a jerk!

Quiet, secluded pavillion with newer electric. Nice for small to medium sized parties. Older outhouse facilities on site Nothing much else around. Used to have a small playground, but it was removed some time ago. A wooded walking trail and a paved loop that is nice for walking.
The trail itself is rather self evident, however there was a rope and pole guide that has fallen in many places. There are some plaques that tell you about some of the trees, but not many. It is still a pretty place to walk.
My favorite spot in the park. Wonderful gravel trail with labeled trees.
