It has an amazing view of the mountains and river. There are plenty of parking spots. They have a kid playground and plenty of picnics spots. You can easily spend a few hours at this place. There is a small trekking trail that ends in a closed-door cave.

Great views of the New River. Take a hike on one of the trails. Neat rock formations. Nice little visitor center and clean bathrooms.
Grandview is a former West Virginia State Park and now part of New River Gorge National River. Aptly named, the park provides spectacular views of the New River Gorge. There are three main overlooks connected by the Canyon Rim Trail. The main overlook is right at a horseshoe bend in the river and is really beautiful. We also hiked the Castle Rock and Tunnel Trails for some great views of rocky tunnels and towering cliff walls. Absolutely beautiful place and definitely worth a visit.
Such a beautiful view! Our Florida native family enjoyed exploring the trails & more! Highly recommended to visit for hiking & picnicking!
Always a great place for a picnic or a baby shower. Today we had two uninvited guest a doe then about an hour later a fawn. The trails and over looks are great.
