I really wish I could provide a 0-star review for how this company handles billing. The hands-on staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Wonderful people. The billing is a frustrating nightmare. I received a bill for 5 from a visit in June. I tried to pay it three different times using their phone service. No luck, due to the process being complete and then it starting me over at the beginning with it saying that the amount is still due. I also visited in August but had forgotten about the balance. You think they would let me know that I had a balance with them. Then...a week ago, I received a notice that I was sent to collections for 5. Yes, you read that correctly...sent to corrections for 5. I called Mt. Baker Imaging and told them I would like to pay the 5, but they said they could not accept it and that they bill “using mailed statements rather than phone call.” Which is understandable. But, MAYBE, give somebody a call or email before sending them to collections for 5 if you have their phone number and email address. That’s what I would expect a good company to do. This is sad and frustrating. I will not pay the collection agency for Mt. Baker Imaging’s flawed systems. I will certainly drop off a 5 bill at Mt. Baker Imaging or send a check to their address.

Would recommend using someone else. Had a MRI done at Mt Baker Imaging. The MRI was done Correctly but the billing was not. I received no bills for the MRI and did not know that I had a bill with them up until I got a summons notice from their collections agency. Which I called Mt Baker imagines owner to set up payments with Mt Baker Imaging and explain to her that I didn’t get a bill. Which was a wast of my time because nothing was done. No changes in the way how they bill. No out of pocket cost was ever given to me. In the end Mt Baker Imaging let the lawsuit go though which ended up costing more for me. What kind of company would hurt a consumer like that? They could have stoped the lawsuit, I did offer to pay and did not know I owed a bill? All I could come up with is they just wanted to get more money out of me. Thanks for taking a extra 900 away from me and my family. You say payment arguments are offered on accounts in collections. Then why didn’t you expect payments when I told you I would pay? Why did you let the lawsuit go through?

It’s not about billing or a faulty diagnosis or reception desk. This complaint is what I have experienced. Customer service, care and concern, privacy and doctor bedside manner is terrible. 1st visit: Dr Backer behaved like I was taking over time, she was short with her answers and the technician who I believe has retired now took the time to address my concerns once the doctor left. I am sure the technician noticed my preoccupied and lost face. 2nd visit: Technician seemed lost. I was left in the room by myself with an open schedule so I viewed every single patients name, reason for visit and day of birth. After the scan I thought a provider would come in explain the situation and talk to me about my concerns and questions. Instead I was given a strip of paper with writing in it and a “ you are clear, you need to return in 6 months” After I complained about my service. I was then escorted to an imaging room to talk about my scan (Dr Carpenter) So, I guess that if you want to be treated respectfully and valued you have to complain? I would recommend some training in your procedures and practicing a warm hand off between provider and tech. Addressing the importance of HIPAA in healthcare organizations and always making sure the patient feels important and all their questions are answered before sending them off with a strip of paper that looks like my 5 year old wrote. Don’t worry I won’t file a HIPAA violation because I am sure someone else will. It’s just a matter of time. I am sure never coming or referring anyone to this place. I just wish my insurance should not have to pay for this failing appointment.

Unprofessional. I went in for an x-ray and they said they’ll call me with the results and they didn’t. I called them and after asking they emailed me a letter stating there was nothing wrong even though I’ve been in extreme pain for three weeks. Went to another place in Everett and they instantly noticed something was wrong. Heard this place tells people there’s nothing wrong when there is and now I’ve just experienced it.

They were professional and treated me with care! They also had me in and out of my appointment quickly.
