Experience instant and undeniable peace. From the moment we started to the instant you finish it is an awesome experience. They have 1hr,3hr and some custom camping packages that I would you recommend and call about. They are dog friendly and have some great staff. You are literally in control of your canoe trip. Highly recommend this to all walks of life. The end point takes a little skill to get off but nothing to bad to handle. Again, we will be returning or recommending.

We had a great experience with Downriver Canoe Company. Visiting from New York, we brought our own kayaks and were hoping to paddle somewhere but didn't know exactly where or how to put in and take out with only one car. The folks were very kind to us on a very busy saturday and let us put in at Start 4 on the Shenandoah. My partner dropped the car back off at their main building and let him catch a ride in the shuttle back to our start point (we tipped them for their generosity). They really helped us out and we enjoyed a wonderful paddle along with many other kayakers and tubers floating along with us. Highly recommend this place.
