Very beautiful place out right now during end of December/beginning of January. Bring your best hiking winter boots or winter trail shoes. This paved trail is pretty easy when it's dry I assume. I ran with packed snow and ice on it so it was a bit difficult but doable. There's parking along side the street between the bridge and cabins. As a reminder, be respectful to the fishers and pick up your own trash. So far from what I've seem everyone has done a great of that, keep it up.

Nice walking area. About 2 miles long. Easy to walk. Easy to follow path. Leads to lake and camp grounds throughout the lake. Beautiful scenery and plenty of stops and benches to take a small break. Relatively peaceful and quiet especially the further you go and it's specially good for walking your dog.

Nice pathway that has a scenic view of the lake. We parked by the elementary school and walked a bit. It was really cold so we left after a little bit. It's beautiful.

Great little trail to walk your dog, jog, or ride a bike, it's approx. 4 miles in length to the Discovery Center and back to Stanfield Rd.

Wanted to take the whole family on a hike. This was a very nice path to walk/bike on. It is paved and fairly flat if you have little ones in strollers. The whole thing is pretty flat, but there is some elevation change but it never gets too steep. There are beautiful views since it is next to the lake. My little guy rode his balance bike and had no problems. One negative about this trail is that it doesn't loop so you have to turn back. But not looping could be a positive since you don't have to complete the whole trail, you can make your hike a length you like. Just remember if you walk 3 miles in, you have to walk 3 miles back. My little guy tuckered out once we got about a mile and a half in, luckily we pushed his stroller with us so he rode in the stroller back. I had to carry the bike back. Luckily it's not big or heavy. Definitely would walk this path again. In these COVID times it was not too crowded when we went in the morning. Definitely there were people but most were masked and socially distancing.
