West Marine lost all of my business and my brothers companies business! Found what I needed and looked around for about an hour. They were great right up to the point of checking out.... They don't take cash, U.S. currency! Apparently my money isn't good enough for West Marine... Go to Ken's Marine. Better price better people better selection! Don't even mention being trans or gay, they will run you out if you are.....

So, after my husband being given the run around on our order for almost a month, I called to see why we had not been refunded. After being on hold for 18 minutes for research, the customer service agent on the 800 line informed me that we needed to call "Bill" at the local store because the system deleted the card information to refund the order to. When I questioned why no one could figure that out on the 28th and the 1st when we spoke with them, he said they "assumed" that it would just be refunded. I called Bill at the local store and we had to give him the card information over the phone to get a refund for an order we placed on the 14th of August, and cancelled on the 28th (only because they could give us NO ESTIMATED TIME we would receive our order). He said "We'll send a receipt to the email on file and our refunds are usually very quick." I informed him we've yet to receive any email from them that wasn't sales or promotion (because we've been waiting on the order cancellation email since the 28th) and that obviously the refund isn't that quick if we've been battling it and given the run around since the 28th. To which he basically said "Sorry you're so disappointed in the store." No real care or concerns, and that was that. I will be continuing to monitor our account to see if anything is actually refunded.
