My first online auction with them was so much fun and I scored some great items at a great price. They added a second pick up date if you couldn't make the first. The man who was there was kind enough to load my chairs in the car for me. I was in and out in minutes. A seamless experience. Can't wait for the next one!

I have attended in person or bid online at (5) blackbird auctions over the last (4) years and each has been a very good experience. The auction staff has been fair, the items have been well represented, and the removal staff has been exceptional. I have never lost an item I purchased as the staff monitors the removal very closely. One person in particular named Donny has been extremely helpful in helping me load trucks, coordinate rigging , and in general make what is sometimes a difficult removal process seem easy. A good overall experience.
Our company recently purchased some items in a Blackbird online auction. The auction itself was run very well and was easy to navigate. We had a bit of a logistical problem that could have been costly for us. I called Michael after the auction and he was able to make arraignments for us to pick up the items early with a truck we had in the area, instead of making an additional 4 hour each way trip the following week. Thanks to Blackbird for saving us time and money.
I recently purchased a large item at one of their auctions. I truly enjoyed the experience of dealing with the auction representatives. The item I purchased was large and difficult to move. As a result we spent many hours removing tooling and rigging up the machine. During that process we really enjoyed chatting with Don and his helpers. They all went out of their way to lend a hand in anyway they could. They made sure we got everything that we had purchased in the auction and that was huge. These are good honest people running the auction. Thank you!

I would like to make it known that working with David and everyone at Blackbird was a great experience! Having had to close up shop at a sister company (Jamestown Fabricated Steel) is hassle enough let alone having to unload any assets involved, and Blackbird made that process substantially simpler! Everyone there was very pleasant to work with and David was straightforward with every aspect of the auction. There was no “beating around the bush” or shady dealings going on with those guys! Truly a great company with honesty & integrity. They go the extra mile to ensure a positive experience that puts them above their competition. Out of all the auctioneers, Blackbird takes the lead as I truly appreciate their added security effort to minimize the damage caused by the thieves who find themselves at every auction across the board. They also ensure adequate staffing to track and log correct bids which is a huge frustration with some of the other company's out there.
If you have never been to an auction before, because you are intimidated by the unintelligible speed of the calling of the auctioneer, FORGET IT! Blackbird is FAST TALKING, but very easy to understand and will even let you interrupt the auctioneer if you get "lost" in the process. It is exciting and fun and you can always count on getting a real bargain! The entire staff is friendly and professional and will help you with any questions. Don't miss out on the action! The hardest part is making your first bid ever....but once you do, you will see how easy it really is. Blackbird makes it fun and exciting, really!!!
