Margaret is extremely knowledgable and always very helpful, no matter your level of mastery. The store carries a wide variety of unusual, high-quality and beautiful products which are not available anywhere else in town. Classes are offered for all ages and skill levels.

Not only are the clerks & owner a great help while shopping, but this store has absolutely gorgeous fabrics and almost every accessory you can imagine - from needles to buttons. Be careful - shopping here can be addictive!!

I stopped by the holiday open house today to spend some time with Margaret, the owner of the University of Sewing. It was great to hang out for a little bit and the more time that I spend here the more that sewing becomes a part of my vocabulary. It's been great working with them to help them optimize their website and email marketing and getting to know them on a personal level. Margaret is a very talented seamstress and tailor and really is passionate about everything that has to do with sewing. It's really a pleasure being able to write a review for them and being able to consider them a friend and awesome client.
