Blue Knob was good. It is definitely better than Seven Springs, but is just barely worth the extra drive if you're coming from Pittsburgh. It took them an hour to open up more than one lift when I went on Superbowl Sunday... maybe they were expecting less people.

Gotta give this place HUGE props for having some Of the best kept/cut/steep slopes in the east! With the short 1 hr 30 min drive from Pittsburgh. Insanely fun runs and lots of powdery conditions. Incredible deal too 85 for lodging and lift ticket!
A nice close (to Pittsburgh) place to ski. We chose here because we heard it was a bit less crowded than Seven Springs, and there indeed weren’t many people around. Kids got lessons, which they enjoyed and seemed to learn from. It’s a bit tough for beginners here since everything is fairly steep, but we managed. As others note, it feels a bit run down and they only had the one lift going, but people were super friendly and it was less expensive than elsewhere.
Unpretentious mom and pop ski resort. We went for spring skiing so we can't speak so much for the conditions but they were having a super fun costume contest on the slopes. Slopeside pub had very reasonably priced food and the service was good.
The skiing was great, the lift operators were very nice and enforced wearing masks. The cafe was good and social distancing was in place. It was a holiday weekend and the lines were not long because they kept them going. I think they could groom the mountain a little better. We will definitely go back!
Love blue knob. Some of the most challenging skiing / boarding in pa if not the east coast. More of a skier mountain or an all mountain boarder. If u want terrain park this isn't it, but if u want super challenging steeps you'll find that here. Amazing mountain when the conditions are good
It's a Pennsylvania ski resort, feels like it could be a really good place, but it looks poorly managed. Needs better grooming and more work on the glades. Lodge was very dirty, random stuff lying around everywhere. I feel like they could have had the staff doing something about it. Most ski lift operators were smoking or vaping. Likewise, not bad, but not great.
Best mountain for skiing outside of Vermont, on the east coast, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to assist you. Great instructors and the resort contains all the amemities you would expect to find at any larger scale family ski lodge. To top it off, the rental shop has the freshhhhest equipment, just in case you don't have your own.
