BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE! Our original date was set for 10/24/2020 and The Marquardt Ranch was so helpful and accommodating when we needed to change our date to 02/13/2021 due Covid19. Our wedding was also the beginning of the biggest snow storm Texas has ever seen and we didn’t even notice because our wedding was perfect. I still dream about how beautiful the floral arrangements were! We have had so many friends and family call and tell us how tasty the food was and how beautiful the venue is. If you book The Marquardt Ranch I would suggest also booking Sheryl to help with your big day. We could not have pulled of the wedding of our dreams without her.

I first fell in love with this venue when my brother and sister in law got married there in 2008. When I got engaged this last May, we planned to get married in October which left only 5 months. We looked at other venues but Marquardt stuck in my mind. The sheer beauty of the location in the hill country would be enough for anyone but the building itself is equally breathtaking. Luckily there was an opening and we booked it! Everyone on staff was wonderful and truly guided me in the planning process. While you have to use their caterers, the food was excellent. Likewise, since I didn't want too many decorations, I focused on the floral arrangements and I used their in house florist. So glad I did because she created exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond. Overall, highly recommend. Our wedding was Saturday, September 5th. We booked in January and have been wowed not only by the gorgeous venue but also the prompt communication. All of our questions were answered, we received updates when needed due to the current situation. This venue is GORGEOUS rain or shine. We had the ceremony indoors because there was a decent chance of rain and it was the best! I could not have asked for better.

As a professional wedding photographer, I recently toured this wedding venue with Sheryl to see the property again as I hadn't seen the property since January of 2018. This property is special for a few reasons... it was one of the original hill country wedding venues, the outdoor ceremony site overlooks the Guadalupe River, it's one of the only venues I know to have twin towers on top of the bride and groom's rooms overlooking the picturesque hills, AND (as a wedding photographer) this venue has the shiniest, reflective floors! I love getting creative during the reception with floors like this! Recently, The Marquardt Ranch has added stone seating at the ceremony area and added natural wood planks to the mirrored-staircase in the ballroom. This is a beautiful venue tucked away in the woods of Boerne!
