My children took part in the kid's climb. The staff was amazing, very attentive to the kids. Also they were helpful and encouraging. The two hours were more than worth the price. They get proper one on one attention to learn the and not just climb

I've been climbing for the past two years, am currently climbing in the V5/5.12 range, and have climbed pretty extensively at other gyms around the Boston area. This is a very SOLID climbing gym for lifestyle climbers (I can't speak directly to first-timers or kids classes, though they seem good). The routes are well-maintained (holds are always very clean and new routes are set often enough for you to project some tough routes and not get bored of the easier routes). There's also a fantastic diversity of terrain to climb on. Two special draws for me is the abundance of lead climbing and especially THE ROOF (climb up to the ceiling, then lead climb across it upside down). The staff is great, very friendly, and you really feel like you're part of a community and not just another number. It's a little pricier than gyms like Rock Spot, but I think it's a very good value for what you get. Minor drawbacks for me: -- Walls are only about 30/40 feet, so it's harder to train lead endurance. -- Sometimes the place is filled with kids taking classes or having parties, so you might have to stick to the bouldering room one night out of the month or so. Minor inconvenience. -- Decor could use a bit of an update (feels a little bit classic, and not in a great way). Would also be cool if they had more gear for sale.

I like this place since it's got a local feel to it and the routes they put up are mostly well thought out. Some of the holds and ropes do start to wear needing replacement. But overall it's good. From experience the grading is quite close but possibly a little higher than it should be. But definitely not as bad a Brooklyn. It's also a no fuss place and relaxing

Awesome rocks. Good for small and larger parties. All equipment is available for rent (cheap). Lessons and instruction is available as well. Staff is friendly and safe. We saw girl that had a previous cut on her finger. She reopened the cut and the staff was able to assist her on getting a band aid and ensuring she was okay. Highly recommend this place.

Great climbing gym for kids and adults alike. Good mix of top top rope and bouldering. Some nice crack routes. Five auto-belays.

Absolutely fantastic fun. Memberships are pricey when you look at how much upkeep is put into the gym itself. For example water bubbler shoots out about half an inch and has small children sucking on it at all times. I do think certain areas or days should be adults only but I'm sure they make a lot of money from the kids groups that make my 45 a month not so worth it sometimes. Like I said it's still very fun.
