Their website says: "The erstwhile Cigar Lounge is now the most popular evening venue in Boston" After my small group finished at a high-end steak house, we wanted to enjoy a fine scotch and cigar on a cold Boston night. We were turned away. Apparently four well-dressed white dudes in their 30s aren't welcome. After a long cold walk to seek out this particular establishment, we had to find a drink elsewhere.

Very warm and inviting atmosphere and top notch service. However, they only have one beer on tap (Heineken), and the bar bites menu isn't very friendly if you don't eat meat

Old world charm, old world drinks perfected to the view of the rich and famous (or about to be) near the Boston common gardens. About 20% - 30% more for drinks compared to LaVoile but you are paying for service, location, experience and views. They never disappoint and treat you like royalty. It's the Taj after all.

This place is pricey, but excellent if you want to watch creepy guys interacting with very young girls. They have the typical classic cocktails, and here's a fun fact: they keep the Cristal in a safe and when you order it security guards are required to be present. The food looks good but I haven't tried it.

The drink I got was fantastic. My wife's drink was a little too syrupy though. But the atmosphere and decor were great, and the food, which we didn't have, looked delicious

Perfect bar to cap off a date night. Very quiet, romantic seeing with a fireplace for the winter. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. You definitely pay for the Taj name though

This hotel was outrageously expensive for the quality. Our room was not what we reserved. It was small and tacky. The staff entered our room after we left for only a few hours and moved stuff around. The bathroom was dirty and had hair in the shower. Just overall the amenities were not there for an upscale hotel. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.
