The customer service was awesome but not the food. I had a to go order. I ordered the white rice, black beans, chicken and plantains. The rice and beans were bland, the food wasn’t hot (taste more like they microwaved it) the chicken was dry and didn’t look fully cooked, the wing part of the chicken was hard as a rock and the skin was dry and tasteless. The plantains were sweet and delicious. I can’t speak for their other dishes because this was my first visit. I couldn’t finish my plate because it didn’t even look appealing. Most of my good went in the garbage. I would rather go to Pollo Tropical and endure the wait. I wouldn’t recommend this specific dish to my family and friends due to its blandness and dryness.

Everyone one of the staff were compliant with covid state regs wearing masks and seating was also spaced safely apart. There's also outdoor seating. We had the fried pargo which was very tasty and not overcooked. And the Guarapos trio of chicken, shrimp and steak with yellow rice and black beans and sweet plantains es absolutely delicious. We had flan and tres leches with cafe con leche ; also delish. The wait staff were all great. Great place to eat.
The Ropa Vieja was good but watery. Thus a 3 stars instead of 4. The black beans delicious. Sweet Plantains were good but a bit hard and not tender like I prefer. This entree was priced a bit high relative to other restaurant offering of the of the same entree. The service was excellent.
The food is amazing and prices are very reasonable. The portions are huge! The staff is pleasant and the owner always takes a minute to stop at your table to make sure everyone is satisfied. I can't wait to bring my family here for dinner this week. My new favorite place to eat!!
The service was very polite and generous. The cortadito was definitely on point. Great tasting plantains. Very well priced specials. I will gladly continue eating here.
