To start, I was charged for two pieces of equipment when I only requested a 416 Cat Backhoe. The delivery showed up with the Cat and a mini which I did not request. My money was refunded for that mix up and i was able to run the backhoe for about 4 hours that first night. The next morning I went to get back on it and the rear tire blew out as soon as I put it in reverse. Bradco Supply promptly sent someone to look at it and determined that there was already fix-a-flat in the tire. The service tech (not from Bradco) told me that in his experience there must have already been an issue with the tire. On top of that, he did not have a tube to fix it and Bradco did not have another one to replace it so they had to send out a mini excavator which was far from ideal. I also lost about half of a day with several guys standing around before we were able to get back top work. I used the Cat for a total of 4.5 hours total and was able to use the mini for 8.6 which is less that the 2 days (16 hours) I was charged. This job (due to heavy flooding) had to be completed in the 2 days we were in the area as I live a couple hours away and had to get back to work on Monday so I figured that something would be done about the set back. What was done is that I got a call from Bill stating that I owed another 295.74 for the repair (puncture) which he insisted I was responsible for. He then told me that a lot of times \fix-a-flat\ is used as a preventative measure in some cases. By the way, the repair was made on Monday. On a side note, I have run all types of equipment in the past and have never had a tire blowout, let alone in the conditions I was using it in that day.
