I was really excited to come to this bookstore. I looked up hours online and then drove 45 minutes to check it out. We get there on a Thursday at like 1:45. The hours on the door say “usually”.. and it’s closed. There’s no sign that says closed for lunch for anything. I’m disappointed because it looked really cute inside but unfortunately I won’t be making this drive again for a store that might or might not be open

I'm pretty sure that the owner of Brandywine won't care about this review, but there isn't a very large science fiction/fantasy section. Those are my favorites. Are used book stores a thing of the past? I want old hardcovers and couldn't find them in that genre of titles I wanted to own.

Books are scattered everywhere. The lady helping me was nice. They do not accept discover credit cards. Prices are a little steep for used books.

A quaint and lovely little bookshop. Prices are within reason (it’s not a paperback exchange) and I’m very happy with the two gems I found. Happy bookbuyer from Kentucky.

Went here while on vacation. Very excited to go because of the reviews. My husband needed some books to read for vacation so we stopped by. It was CLOSED! It was a Monday in March. The store was to be open till 5:30 and it was 3:00pm! The sign on the door says the.times and then "Give or.Take"! Who runs a business like that? From the outside, it looks like a nice, eclectic bookshop. From a patrons point of view, if you can't stick to a steady and dependable operating schedule, we won't be back!

Great books for small selection but overpriced. We visit bookstores all over the country and must say this is one of the priciest and messiest. No care for the books it seems. The attendant or owner (who knows) was not communicative and welcoming.

Brandywine books has been a local fixture for decades, and it really hasn't changed much over the years. Tucked at the end of a courtyard behind Barnie's coffee in Winter Park, it is not the easiest store to find. It's worth the detour, though. The store is small but well organized. They have a good selection of a few books in a lot of categories, all organized by general subject category.
