The s place was awesome My daughter and I came in not knowing anything. Pancho showed us how to load our rental gun. We had so much fun and the instructor was really great and super patient with us.

My son (17) and I participated in a class at Bristlecone with Steve MacGregor. He was a great instructor! Our class had a wide range of experience levels and Steve was extremely patient with people on the lower end but still offered tips to those on the higher end. If you want to learn to shoot, handle firearms safely, improve your skills, or even just feel more comfortable around firearms without an intent to use them, Bristlecone is a great option. Thanks again Steve!

My Intro to Pistols class with Steve H was a great experience. Safety is emphasized in physical handling of weapons and in the mental space of the class, creating an environment where people felt free to share their experiences and ask questions. The class format made learning easy and I felt well-prepared by the time we made it to the range. Steve H measured my hand and set me up with a Glock 19. We shot for about 90 minutes after two hours of class time, and finished with a Q&A session for the last 30 minutes of the four hour class. At the range Steve H was able to pick out my rookie mistakes and correct them. By the end of the class I had a good basic understanding of the differences in types of pistols, experience with a basic stance, a clear picture of what my next steps should be, and the confidence to practice on my own.

Large gun range shop in Lakewood. Price is moderately. Staff is so professional and nice. A lot of gun to choose. US citizenship or permanent residence is required to use gun range.

We went to the Valentines day ReAct class it was a lot of fun. Filipp, Pancho, Travis and Levi were really good. We had a rocky start when we came in because one of the staff told my husband to pull up his mask right after we walked in the store, so he was going to leave right then and there and never come back. After convincing him to give you a second chance we did fine in the class. Pancho was very respectful and polite and so were the rest of the guys helping with the class. Cheyanne and the other ladies at the counter are always Awesome it's nice to see women at the gun counter and not just men. The guys here are great and always polite but it is nice to see some women working the gun counter, especially when I have my girls with me.
