Amazing framing and canvas stretcher studio at the Brooklyn navy yard. The products are finely crafted with amazing attention to detail. The owner and the employees are kind people and you can be sure to have a positive experience working with them. They also do all the framing and canvas making for top notch artists like Alex Katz, Charline Von Heyl and Derek Fordjour. Highly recommended

I have searched for a skilled craftsman for custom wood panels and shadow frames for fine art for years, and feel so lucky to have found Fig House Studios. Their craftsmanship is exquisite - the best I have ever seen in the NY metro area. They are super friendly, responsive, VERY quick on turnaround and super easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this business. I have been using mechanical stretchers from Fig House for about a year now and the quality, pricing and turn around time is unmatched. My painting practice as a whole has benefited from the ease at which I can order custom sizing for stretchers and linen by the foot. I've had the opportunity to visit the studio in the navy yard. The owners are very knowledgeable and I always get the feeling that they want to make the best product that is deigned to suit the technicalities of my work. With other companies in New York (not going to name any names) I've encountered issues with turnaround time, warped/flimsy stretchers and inferior customer service. It is refreshing to work with a business that goes above and beyond to prioritize my time and works to build a good relationship with it's customers.
