OK so most of the staff there were extremely friendly and kind.... but one staff member deliberately followed only me and made sure I was uncomfortable and knew he was watching me... and it really offensive and aggressive... when trying to learn the store, my first time there, and figure out what I want to get and pick out the hair it was really uncomfortable to feel watched and wonder what it is that I’m doing to cause this... also it was ridiculous because eventually I had a big enough product that leaving would’ve been a very easy spot with making a customer uncomfortable... and there were other people in the store making it feel extremely deliberate and made me feel unwanted there...I made my purchase and left the only reason I continued with my purchase is because it was snowing outside and I don’t want to travel to another store on foot and this one is the closest... If it wasn’t for that one employee this would’ve been a perfect store the cashier and greeter were really kind but unfortunately my experience was truly ruined and I will no be returning... Also it is insane because on the assumption this was racial if you can’t handle a black customer and are that afraid to let them shop and feel welcomed don’t own a store and sell products that solely hold products for that clientele....

they closed their doors at 6:40 despite the signs on the door signs and website saying they closed at 7. they also offered no explanation as to why they were closing early.
My hairdresser is a block away so I always stop here before I get my hair done. Yes they do keep an eye on you when you browse the store but I'm sure it's because they have had shoplifters before. Besides that they are very helpful and have everything you need.
I go to this place in downtown Brooklyn and I live in Queen's south ozone park.
