In 2017, we had an unexpected death in our family and had to plan a funeral in Brooklyn despite being from North Carolina. We pulled it all together in a matter of days. I tried calling multiple restaurants and bars in the area for a wake, and in typical NYC fashion, it was almost impossible for us to find a place that could accommodate us or offer a reasonable price. Werkstatt was different. The managers were so kind, helped me set up a manageable event, and really could not have been nicer. I honestly wasn't even sure this place was real, since it truly felt like it was a gift from God. Thank you so much again, and much love.

I come to this superb restaurant from time to time as I like the special air that is outline this restaurant. The personel is highly cordial and skilfull. The service is impressively efficient. Not to mention, the food they serve is excellent. I visited many times and I was always happy. The payment is honest. I suggest this restaurant to all my friends.
Love the food, but not vibe. Everything is delicious, food is really great and they have great selection. Staff is little bit rude, and chef is screaming at staff and you can hear that from open window, it’s not what you want to hear when you eat

Went here the other night for outdoor dining and even though it rained we were dry and warm. The food is always amazing and the drinks keep flowing. This place is the best!!

Was a little skeptic at first because German food is not my go to but I'm glad my boyfriend convinced me to try it because it was absolutely delicious. Even the chicken liver mousse which I was scared to try but wow was it amazing. The outdoor seating is super cute and well spaced out and our waitress was lovely as well as the rest of the staff. Will definitely be coming back!
