Perfect spot for hiking and amazing views. Added bonus... you get to be in two states at the same time. Ample parking. The drive to and fr9m also has breathtaking views! A must do while in Gatlinburg or any adjoining areas.

So breath taking. It can be very packed at times with visitors but the view is spectacular. We didn't hike to the top of Clingmans Dome this time because of the fog but to see the clouds rolling over the mountains was so neat.
It's an awesome experience driving along this route. It's one of my most favorite things to see when I'm in the area. The views are spectacular and breathtaking! It's like looking at living art in nature. The scenery is one of a kind! It's also nice driving through the tunnels as well!
Amazing view fun place to walk there are trails you can go and its like a rest stop place there are restrooms and they have a little stone wall you can go up an there are places you can walk or sit ubove that great place go there every time I visit Tennessee.
Beautiful spot and clean enclosed bathrooms. The stalls are tiny and there's only hand sanitizer but it works

Beautiful road in winter. Definitely its anyones guess to know when it actually opened during this time. Suggest you follow the Smoky Mountains road advisory on Twitter for all updated information.
The drive up to the gap is pretty exciting. And the views are definitely worth the drive! The parking lot here can be crowded at times, so you do have to navigate a few people to get the best views. But again, it's worth the minor inconvenience to see those views.
