I'm not a big fan of long huge drops like the one here. You get soaked, and I just don't like the big drop. Other than that, the props and animatronics are amazing, and I love the fun feeling you get when your on here. The drop is the only problem for me. This is my personal opinion.

Best log ride around! Opened in 1969 and remodeled in 2013. Added new audio-animatronic figures. Some of them have slightly scary faces! The ride ends with a 42 foot drop at the end and you may get wet! They take your photo on the drop. Spoiler alert-there is also a shorter drop inside the ride, in the dark. It has great theming. Loggers and forests and animals. You sit on one of two long benches. You can fit up to 3 people per seat if they are smaller. 2 adults. Works great with kids as you can wrap your arms around them. The line can get very long during summer and holidays so ride it early in the day to save time. There are two lines for loading so it goes quickly. If you ride in October be aware that this ride is converter for Knott’s Scary Farm and they cover up the scary elements. October is a great time to go though as the park closes early and is never busy during the day!

FUN! Love this ride. Brings back a lot of great memories. The log ride ride is fun for kids and adults. Brings back lots of feelings of Nostalgia. One of my all time favorite rides. You can tell a ride is amazing if it stands the test of time for decades this ride has remained untouched, unaltered, good old fashioned log riding fun

One of the best long flume rides on the planet! The only better one that I have ever been on is Splash Mountain at Disneyland. This ride is at least 5 minutes. You go up a hill and spend your time weaving in and out of caverns and caves. There are cool scenes along the way that make this more of a Darkride than other log flumes. There are 2 hills. One about 70% through the ride in the dark - and one at the end as the finale. I highly recommend for anyone ages 5-75.

This is a fun ride but definitely not good to go on int during a cold night. Between the water and the cold air I felt near frozen when I got off the ride.

You guessed it floating lazily down a river in a big'ol log with your friends. Leave the parka at home other than a few drops you usually don't get too wet, fun for all ages great warm up ride for the youngins before they start venturing into big kid land. However this may be slightly harder to get in and out of then other rides in the park for the physically disabled, but it can still be accomplished.
