Fantastic views, at the top is a fire tower lookout. Little bit of a drive to the top but definitely worth it
The reservations for fire lookouts are very hard to get and if you're interested in spending a night in one I strongly suggest that you big your vacation around whatever date you can reserve. There is no electricity or running water and is limited to 2 people but the views are fantastic. The nice thing about Sheep Mountain Lookout is that you can drive within 25 yards of the lookout which means no long hiking.
Absolutely amazing stay. The view itself is worth every single penny of the rental fee. Popular spot for people camping in the area for pictures and actually really good cell phone service at the top. Hard to get reservations as its extremely popular.
Bathroom located at the very top of the mountain!!!! Lovely sites and wildlife.
Amazing views and great facilities. Remember to pack in any water you will need!
