It's always great. They have recently done some updates to the inside and it looks fantastic. Food is great as always and good atmosphere. All in all 5 stars.

I never thought that I would be writing a bad review to this place. Since I moved to this town, I had always bought all the birthday cakes here. The taste and the freshness of their cakes are exceptional. The cakes that I had purchase previously, are the ones that they have on display. I had never order one. Last weekend I ordered a cake for my sister in law’s baby shower. I had some ideas and I showed them what I wanted. I know that the pictures that I showed them the cakes were made with fondant and they only work with buttercream. I asked them if they where able to do the design in buttercream and they said yes. Apparently, here they live by the moto “the customer is always right” and not always is the case. I would’ve loved that someone would had called me and said “ Mam, we are sorry but what you had in mind is not working, it doesn’t look good”. I would’ve appreciated the honesty and professionalism. Every cake that they do is their card of presentation. Right now your card of presentation, to my family and friends, is looking very unprofessional and that you don’t have the correct personal to do the job. When I picked up the cake I notice that the employee made a face like something was not right. But then they came out with the cake on a big box, and I didn’t have the chance to see the whole cake before I left. I got home and when I took the cake out of the box, the design was horrible; it look like a poor and bad done design, like the person who made it didn’t know how to do it. What really bothers me is the shadiness of all this. The employees knew that it didn’t look good and that it was not worth what I paid for. I would’ve expected more, because it was not cheap cake. I’m very disappointed and I learned not to pre order a personalized cake anymore.
They place is clean that is the upside the food is subpar is the downside. We came to eat on 2/23/21 I got the foot long hotdog it was ok. This has always been my favorite dish. I went up to the line to get the brown gravy and add cheese into it like I always do. I was told that they no longer offer the brown gravy unless paid for. My daughter got a grilled cheese they bread was grilled but the cheese was no where near melted my daughter took it back up and asked for it to be grilled again cheese still not melted. My moms burger was ok the chili tasted like it came from a can and not fresh. So not very satisfied with service nor the food. Will most likely not come back would not recommend any more to friends. COVID has ruined this place forever. Desserts were still the best.
I love this place. All the bakery items are delicious. I always get the fried bologna with copious amounts of sauerkraut. Soooo good. If that's not you thing they have lost of other stuff. Plus fresh cut fries and free chili.
First time coming and I was disappointed. I ordered a chicken fried steak platter and it was soaked in grease. I feel like I ate just tablespoons of grease. I have a greasy coating in my mouth now and upset stomach. The whole platter wasn't any good. At the beginning one of the cooks was very rude so this will be my final visit. The picture doesn't show how bad it really was.
