Best eggs I’ve ever had in my life. They know what they’re doing! The cutest breakfast spot in downtown. Both inside and outside areas are comfortable and chill (good for people watching too). There was a huge delay in getting the food to the table but they were generous enough to provide beverages on their behalf for the long wait. The manager even came to check in on us. Waitress was new but very sweet and attentive. Very excited to come back for another breakfast

Bravo to the team! Busy place with customers, but you can see great team work overall. Loved the fact that manager was all over the place serving food, clearing the tables and ensure customers who are waiting outside will be seated quickly. Food was great too! It's a proper attitude, and nobody makes excuses with Covid when it comes to great service.

Look at your check carefully, they are dishonest when it comes to charging twice for tipping..they charge 18% gratuity which is included in the bill but it’s posted twice and unless you do your own calculations you won’t notice it.. we had to return to the restaurant to get it rectified...And about they food..it’s mediocre ..we had the french toast with fresh fruit and the toast edges were hard and burnt, my husband had the ham egg Benedict and the sauce was a bit sour..very pricey for what u get, really don't waste your hard earn money here.

I had an absolutely terrible customer service experience at Cafe Bastille. My server greeted and serviced four other tables (which were all seated well after me, with the last being seated almost 20 minutes after I was seated) before water was even brought to my table. Another server who was helping an adjacent table placed my order because he felt so bad for me. The first time my server approached the table was to bring my drink (which was ordered with the other server) and she never apologized for the delay or to explain why I had been ignored. It was difficult to watch each of the four other tables receive their meals, with one finishing their meals and paying the check before my food even hit the table. I was seated alone but these other tables had two or more people. The one table that paid their bill was a table of three. To make matters worse, when my food arrived, part of my order was wrong. I won’t be coming back. On the positive side, I do appreciate the owner/manager Estelle apologizing and trying to explain why I had received such terrible service. I also appreciated a couple of her colleagues trying to rectify the multiple wrongs. Dining out should be an enjoyable experience. This experience was frustrating.

The breakfast here is very good. Oddly enough, I especially love the potatoes that came with our eggs. The quality of food all around is great. I gave this four stars because I think the quality of the pancakes could use some improvement. Other than that, I definitely recommend coming here. You won’t be disappointed!
