I recently found a Boston Whaler in NC but being in CT I needed a marine survey to build confidence in my offer/purchase. Rodney responded really quickly to inspect and sea trial the boat and provided me with feedback on the day of the inspection that really build confidence in my purchase. Rodney did an excellent job of inspecting and water testing a 2010 Boston Whaler Supersport 130. I made the purchase online and was a bit nervous about buying something sight unseen. Rodney got back to me very quickly to setup a day and time for the survey inspection. On the day of the inspection I got a nice video of the sea trial and a few days later the final report with plenty of pictures - it was well done! Having received the boat now - the report did a great job of documenting everything. Based on Rodneys report I was able to negotiate a lower price and the selling yard did some additional minor repairs to the engine. I'd recommend Myers Marine Group!
I was referred to Rodney by a boat dealer in Wilmington, NC., and really did not know what to expect, other than we needed a Marine Survey done on a boat and done asap! Considering buying an older but good quality used boat. As things turned out, I could not have been any happier than I am. Money well spent, because Rodney through due diligence was able to ascertain that the boat had some major things wrong with it and as a result probably was not a good purchase for me. He was on the phone and texting with updates, and able to answer questions in layman’s terms, which was extremely helpful. Hired Rodney to survey a Sundance DX22 I am considering. Excellent work. He took his time to walk me through the entire boat. Took the boat on the water for a test drive. Gave me advice on the pros and cons and contacts to address any issues found. Very satisfied with the service
Rodney was spot on with my most recent marine survey. He knows all vessels head to toe not to mention he has tons of offshore experience as well, which makes a fishing vessel survey even more comfortable. I would highly recommend him for your next marine survey!
