In an industry where every second can mean life or death we intend to make every second count. Putting an end to the increasingly growing fatal ending stories related to domestic violence crime was the motivation behind the development of this type of technology. Kimberly Calhoun, the founder of the company and inventor of the use of the technology was inspired to find a solution for the crime after she had been notified that her sister had tragically fallen victim to a domestic violent crime and she also discovered that this was the most dangerous crime an officer is dispatched for. She used her engineering skills to fill the gaps in the protective order process to leverage the odds in favor of law enforcement and victims. The two major problems she addressed was, “by the time you were aware the order was violated it was too late for the victim” and “there was never enough admissible evidence to enforce the order”, it was always “he said, she said””. The technology is designed to reduce response times for first responders and to change behavior patterns of the offender by utilizing a form of Artificial Intelligence “AI” combined with IoT, tamper resistant wearable tracking devices, that collected data and generates real-time detailed alerts when an order is violated so that the police can safely intervene and the victim can seek safety and the data is used for admissible evidence the courts can use to enforce the orders. Guardianator, the first product line was developed to be a solution for domestic violence crimes. Many years of research and Kimberly’s many years of engineering skills facilitated in designing the necessary fail-safes to reduce false alarms and a reliable solution that continues to operate even if the devices go off grid. Working closely with police officers they engineered a user friendly dashboard making the officers jobs easier and more efficient. As we continued to develop the solution for the Guardianator we started to find better ways and solutions to do indoor tracking which lead to our other product lines that offer safety and security solutions for industries such as oil and gas, utilities, sports arenas, hospitals and so forth. By combining our technology with already available vital sign sensors we are able to provide many lifesaving solutions by being able to either predict before an incident occurs or reduce the response time. We are providing the means to be proactive to situations and a tool that can be used as behavior management to prevent recidivism and collect data so that we can continue to learn and grow.
