There’s a lot to like here. But it’s easier to focus on the dislikes for this review, for some this may not be an issue but they allow smoking inside which wouldn’t be too bad if you could only smoke on one side of the bar but since you can smoke in the whole bar you never know if someone will pop up next to you with a cigarette. Also a lot of the DJ music was pretty old and I’d heard it a lot of times here before, however they did play a few new songs so it wasn’t too bad. Overall this is by far the best spot in Cape Coral for now, hopefully someday we have better options.

Downtown Cape Coral staple... country bar... line dancing (huge dance floor!) With a scatter of hip-hop songs... yes, there are some people that line dance to these as well... huge venue which can accommodate a large crowd... without feeling, well crowded.. allows smoking, but not too smokey, and it's nice and cold there! Even if you are not into country or line dancing... you will wish you showed up in cowboy boots when you see how cute everyone on the dance floor looks like!
I’ve been coming here for 5 years and this is one place that makes you feel like family. Fun atmosphere. They play a little bit of everything so it’s a nice variety of music. If you like to line dance this is the place to be! Bartenders and staff are great people.
I used to love going here to line dance all night but now you guys barely even play country music. Too much rap and it has brought in too much of the wrong crowd of people and has honestly ruined Dixie. If I wanted to listen and dance to rap, I could go to any other bar in Cape Coral or Ft. Myers. The country songs that are still played are fun, I just want more!
