My son is three years old and has been going to Capital Area Speech and Occupational Therapy for speech therapy since he was two. He LOVES Ms. Julia! They have an amazing bond! He has grown and improved his language skills so much since he started! We are so thankful for all that they do, especially during a pandemic! My older son, at the same age, also did speech therapy here. His therapists were fantastic as well! We didn't hesitate one bit on going back to them as soon as they diagnosed my youngest with a speech delay. We knew we would be in good hands! We love Capital Area Speech and Occupational Therapy!

I never would have thought calling a therapy office would make my day. I was a bundle of nerves in a situation I've never had to navigate before. I often find that my first interaction with the person answering the phone sets my feelings about an office. In this case, my experience with Kristin, one of the front office staff, was wonderful. She was so knowledgeable and cognizant of the fears and concerns associated with having no experience with speech therapy. She was professional and kind, and clearly walked me through the process. I am feeling so confident about my child receiving help from Capital Area Speech. Thank you so much!

I highly recommend Capital Area Speech & Occupational Therapy. I can't say enough good things about my daughter's speech therapist, Stacey. Stacey is always so positive with an upbeat attitude which makes learning fun and interactive. She is also very patient and genuinely cares about the progress my child is making. I appreciate her attentiveness and support throughout my daughter's development. I love how we recap after each session, gives us techniques and things to work on or notice throughout the week. My daughter's speech and communication skills have improved so much, and continues to do so. Thank you Stacey!!

We are very happy with Capital Area Speech & Occupational Therapy. We looked carefully at other local practices and selected Capital Area because they were very responsive, willing to work from our school district assessment and were working hard to make adjustments to move therapy online. Our therapist, Mrs. Thomlinson, is amazing. She has just the right mix of being fun & being firm. She makes practicing speech a lot of fun for my son while also being very productive. Highly recommend this practice!
