I needed them the same day. They were there 2 hours early. I have a broken ankle. This trip required a lot of walking. So the scooter helped me out. They even let me keep it longer. Easy to load in the car.

We had a great experience renting a wheelchair, last minute, in Washington DC. We were on a family trip for a wedding over the New Year Holiday when we decided it would be best for our 90 year old grandpa to have a wheelchair. Scootaround was quick to get us one, delivered right to our Air BnB on a holiday and we were so impressed they picked it up on a Sunday morning. They did all the work and they were extremely nice and professional! Our grandpa was able to tour around the city with ease in his rented wheelchair. I would definitely recommend them and will keep them at the top of our list for future needs!
Excellent equipment and service. All just as advertised. Will use them again wherever available. Highly recommend them ... makes traveling so much better. I rarely rate publicly but for Scootaround and for the sake of those whom they will benefit, happy to share!
Rented a scooter after ACL surgery so that we could visit colleges and museums in DC. Scooter was delivered to and picked up from our hotel- super simple! Scooter had a ton of power- used it all day and it never ran out. It folded down/ pulled apart very easily to fit into the mini-van (probably could have fit into the trunk of a sedan as well.) Great experience- would do it again!
