We had a very memorable and fun experience on the boat cruise to the Kaneohe sand bar with Captain Bruce. It was our first time there and we’re so glad we went. The crew was so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. My 13 year old daughter went snorkeling and enjoyed it a lot. She was actually the last one in the water, all by herself but the staff still remained in the water and continued to watch and monitor her to ensure she was safe. I thought that was excellent customer service! I would love to go back again and recommend all of my family and friends to check it out.

First time at the sandbar, and I lived here all my life. My 13 year old and I arrived at 9am, which was great because about 10 minutes later there was no parking and people had to park on the street - so go early. Our boat was leaving at 9:30am, so at 9:15am sharp they checked our temperatures, checked our names and we were onboard and off within minutes. It took (literally) 10 minutes to get to the sandbar, it was that close. We walked off the boat and wandered the sandbar for awhile and even saw an octopus swimming off and away from us. The views of the Koolau are spectacular as we sat and enjoyed the view from the water. I got to snorkel and saw so many reef fish and turtles (honu) down below. The water was clear and just beautiful for snorkeling. The boat is clean and they were very careful to explain the rules of the sandbar (ie: don’t harass the turtles, stand or kick the reef and social distance when you’re on the boat. Drinks were stocked, and they had paddle boards and floaties for the kids. Thankfully the sandbar tide was low 10am, it started getting higher when we were leaving 12:30pm. 2 1/2 hours were enough to get me sunburned that weekend. Thank you for a wonderful tour, I’ll be back soon... very soon!
