Amazing food and atmosphere The monster roll was amazing and the lobster roll was even better. If you get lucky to have Kay as your server, you are in for a wonderful dining experience.

What amazing sushi! They have weekend special sushi that is not on the menu. Our waiter was awesome too. He was very knowledgeable on the menu and was always there when needed. Very attentive. Will 100% be back!

This place was recommended to me from my family who are local to chapel hill. I come from a big city and have had a lot of good and bad sushi. This place was actually very good. I order small orders on sushi rather than rolls usually, but my date ordered rolls. The sushi was a good size, and the taste was good. I usually have to take two bites of my sushi and The tuna was a little hard to bite and separate, but the tuna was very yummy and good quality. We got edamame and a bottle of rose, both were great. Our waitress was amazing as well. I unfortunately couldn't remember her name, but she has long blonde semi curly hair and was great. They have barriers up for safety of covid and they have hand sanitizer at the door. Good place and yummy, go check it out!

I rate sushi on a scale of “Better than Harris Teeter” to “Worse than Harris Teeter.” This place is definitely worse than the sushi at Harris Teeter and I find that disappointing especially since I wanted to have a special birthday lunch with my daughter. We couldn’t finish our meal I was so bummed out. I get it, we want to support out local businesses, but let’s have some standards. Nice service, though. Edit: after the reply below from the establishment I would like to clarify why I’m giving this place one star. First the sushi was warm and we couldn’t finish it. No freshness whatsoever. The shrimp noodles were made from low grade ramen and the shrimp had a rubbery texture and was not fresh. It was by far the worst sushi place I have been to. I was not trying to be as harsh but the reply makes it seem like I am being picky. I rate Harris Teeter sushi a 3 out of 5. This restaurant gets a 1 out of 5. I was so close to asking for a refund but I didn’t want to embarrass my daughter. That’s unheard of for me I do not like wasting food. I hope this can further highlight the issues for potential customers so they can avoid this place.

One of the better sushi places I've found in the Chapel Hill area. They didn't have Toro but said they usually have it on weekends. The Winterfest roll was really big and delicious. Prices were not bad at all. I would definitely come back here.
