I came for the jerk chicken and it was excellent - smoky, spicy and sweet. But the “Large” order had very little chicken, and none of the staff - including cooks - was wearing a mask. Which would be less of a problem if you could order and wait outside. More chicken more safety and this would be a 5 star review.

I went here one evening in early July really wanting this to be a nice inexpensive place I could go occasionally for a family dinner out. The food itself was actually pretty good - but - portions were less than what you pay for. A bit of tweaking required after opening. AC must have been broken as they had the front doors open - letting in flies and mosquitoes to bug us as we begrudgingly ate our meal which took forever to get there and arrived just before we were about to get up and walk. Interior looks like they ran out of money half-way through construction and then just used the cheapest materials available to get the job done. Bathrooms were decent and service was pleasant - they really did try - which saved it from getting one star.

Very poor service and I didn’t even get to eat the food. I ordered via Grubhub and went to pick up the food. The lady there was very VERY rude and told me that “grubhub not working” she didn’t offer to do another order and cancel my order. I offered to do it and she just gave attitude until another lady came in. I was shocked and annoyed. I was the only one ordering food at the time so idk why she would be so short with me. With that kind of service they will not see me ever again. If I could give zero stars I would.

I just ordered ordered the fried chicken on UberEats and I have to leave a review. I’m Jamaican and this fried chicken tasted like home. It’s hard to find good friend chicken at Jamaican restaurants in the US but this absolutely made me feel like I got it from the cook shop up the road back home. But I have to rave about their patties. Omg!!! I’m glad I waited until it came out the oven. This pattie tasted like it came straight from Juici Beef or Tastee Patty back home. If you know Jamaican patties from Jamaica you know they’re flaky. I could never find 1 like that in the US. Castello patties FLAKE!!! Crust droppings everywhere. Meat perfectly seasoned and minced. This is it. I don’t need to try any other places. This is the real deal for authentic Jamaican food.

At the moment you step in this place the personel give you an agreeable feeling. Very friendly stuff, it is a nice place to enjoy with your friends or with your date. heavenly cuisine, talented chef, decent price and nice service. Highly recommended.
