I usually love Cavenders, which is why I’m giving 2 stars. But this entire store is completely disorganized. The same style is mixed with different styles. I understand clearance being that way but everything else is a mess! The check out people lack enthusiasm. There hasn’t been any new cute woman styles for a while either. This store needs some attention!

Today I came to the store in search of a pair of boots for my wife, she is very hard to shop for but Hillary did a great job helping us out. She is very versatile in all departments clothing and boots. Extremely knowledgeable of her job. There’s are few and far between like her, very happy personality. Keep up the great support Hillary one day you’ll be running this place!

I came looking for a particular work boot style and size. They had a small variety of work boots and very little in my size. The customer service and attention was great. Nothing wrong there. It was just apparent they do not cater much to work boot customers with large feet. The guy did everything he could within reason to try and help me. I wanted to buy from them but ultimately had to take my business elsewhere and luckily found what I wanted at the competition.

Walked out with a fantastic pair of boots. But I have never walked into a store that had people literally asking me if I need anything every 3 tob9 minutes. It was to a point I had to ask one person to help me then the rest left me alone. I don't need someone to hold my hand when I shop. But when I do, I will ask.

Super nice staff, willing to help yet not imposing themselves onto us. They were really committed to help us out - picking a hat for Christmas if you must know. Love the hat, of which they have a great selection of too! This location seems new and I had visited only one other, from which I don't have much memories (meaning: wasn't outstanding, I guess).

While my wardrobe is not exclusively western wear, I am a born and raised Texan and do appreciate my heritage, including western clothing. My most comfortable shoes are, in fact, cowboy boots, and I am particularly fond of snap button shirts with a western yoke. All that to say I really like Cavender's Boot City and the new store on 99 is very nice. You know what to expect when you enter a Cavender's: friendly, helpful staff and quality western clothing. Cavender's is the definition of knowing who you are. Check it out. Cowboy boots, snap button shirts, string ties, Boot cut jeans are not costumes or novelty clothing. Here in Texas they represent our culture in the same way Aloha shirts and Muumuus do for Hawaiians. Embrace your Texan heritage and add some western wear to your wardrobe soon. The new Cavender's store on 99 is a great place to start.
