My private ride with Cedar Island Stables was a bucket list item fulfilled! Crossing the water to the next island was unique and as we rounded the bend we encountered 13 wild horses and galloped with them down the beach. Our guide was Kenneth Both my husband and I have our own horses and aren’t new to riding, but not professionals by no means. This experience was beyond exciting and so much more than we expected! I recommend this to anyone. Whether you’ve rode before or not. The guide and horses take care of you. Kenneth did a fantastic job pairing us up with a horse to match. We took a sunset ride, got to see the wild ponies, and a sunset. It was all well worth the price. Like something out of a dream! I hope to visit again someday.
Amazing experience! My husband and I went horseback riding with Dori as our guide and wow what an experience! Super friendly and our horses were beautiful and the ocean and surrounding area is extremely scenic! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new and doesn’t want to be in a crowded area.
This was a fantastic experience! Dori was wonderful to work with. My two teen daughters were excited to ride and I was very nervous. The horses were well behaved and Dori helped me feel very comfortable. We did the 90 min ride which included crossing in the water. AMAZING!
Dori made my year! She welcomed us with a warm smile and was incredibly flexible and kind with my young child. This experience is perfect for either novice riders or experienced ones! I live in Montana where everything is beautiful, but this horse ride on cedar island blew me away. This is a MUST do activity for anyone who loves to feel alive and free!
