Please take the time to review the negative reviews and the owner's responses. You will start to get the full picture of the owner and her defensiveness and style. My son took her class and did not want to continue with her due to her demeanor. He did not feel she was a good teacher nor did she seem to enjoy working with students. I spoke to his friend who was in the class and he felt the same way. She does not have a lot of patience for people (parents included) who ask questions and do not understand the details and nuances her line of work. When you go to a professional and ask them questions it is because you believe the have the understanding that you do not have. A true professional understands the importance of customer service and patience.We did not find Ms. Stone to have these qualities. So if you are considering this driving school, you may want to ensure this is the best fit for your student as it was not for ours.

Janet Stone was a fantastic driving instructor. Both of my sons studied with her and after completion of the course they each easily passed their driving test. I also appreciated Janet as a parent. She would quickly answer any of my questions and reminded me to let my sons drive whenever possible. My sons have years of driving ahead of them and their growth and development as drivers doesn't stop when they get their license. I am so thankful that they received such a solid foundation of training from Stonepoint Driving School.
I’m very grateful to Mss Stone. She is an excellent teacher and has patience. I really liked my 2 hours classes driving everywhere. Now, I got my driver’s licenses. Thank you!
I saw her car driving around Cedar Park. I wrote her information down and I signed my son online for the classes. I was able to do everything online and chose the days and hours for the classes. Mss April is very professional. My son learned and enjoyed all his classes. I really recommend her. She is an excellent instructor for teens and adults.
Janet is an amazing teacher. I was extremely nervous riding with my son before he started her class! He learned so much and he is now a better driver than my older son! He feels more confident too!
