During these unprecedentedly challenging times, it’s comforting to know that the Center for Disease Control is doing all that it can to keep all of us as safe as possible. Of course, perhaps not everyone may agree with these views, but I personally feel as though they’re doing as much as they can here at the Center to help all of us to cope with this devastating and unforgiving pandemic which knows no bounds. So on behalf of those of us who do duly recognize all of your tireless efforts in trying to defeat this unrelenting virus, Center for Disease Control, let me extend to you some very well-deserved and sincere gratitude! Everyone working here at this agency should certainly feel quite proud to represent such a highly esteemed institution.

I’ve been standing in line for three days waiting on my Covid vaccine. I even asked to speak to Dr. Fauci directly and they had the nerve to call me Karen. I need the vaccine so I can take the kids to Disneyland for Christmas then we’re driving up to Myrtle Beach to see Granny and them. The Chic-fillet across the street doesn’t have Buffalo sauce either. This place is a complete scam. I think I’ll just drink essential oils.

Please, please, please extend the CDC Eviction Moratorium for ALL evictions (barring illegal or harmful activities). We pay our rent on time and in full. Landlord tried to illegally evict us during the past six months (we used grocery money to appeal) and only the CDC Eviction Moratorium has saved us until Dec 31, 2020. Landlord wants to flip house and refuses to write us a Letter of Reference (so we are stuck here) OR extend our lease. My husband's income from working remotely supports seven adults. Our five college students lost jobs and cant attend college because of Covid19 closures, and etc. I have health issues, too and won't survive being homeless. Its a genuine mess out here. Im positive allowing the eviction moratorium to expire will put millions of families in harm's way. Please extend the eviction moratorium and include those of us whose landlords refuse to renew leases this protection from homelessness. There is literally nothing to rent within our limited budget. Thank you. Update: 12-29-2020 The heat went out on 12-26-2020- Landlord/owner refuses to fix it. She told us to buy space heaters and that her repairman has shingles. When I asked her for a company name and time (to expect a repair) she said she felt threatened. I have never threatened anyone in my life. If the house catches fire- it will be her fault(we could only afford to buy two and we have to move them around to take the chill off). (Shes aware that the electricity is mucked-up. When we use certain outlets the fuse breaker box buzzes, so we dont use them anymore.) What do we do? We can't afford to go to court to get her to fulfill her responsibilities. We are anxious to move but without a reference- we are stuck. If anyone has a safe place to rent in SC or NC- PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANK YOU.
