Yarnability is a great small knit and crochet shop on Washington Street in Charles Town, WV. Karen, the shop owner is very knowledgeable and cares a wonderful selection of yarns. I have taken classes there, brought in my knitting mistakes that got corrected and have met wonderful like minded folks as well.

The best yarn shop in at least an hour radius! The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable, the yarn is excellent prices and great selection, and she frequently updates her stock to make sure you can always get enough of what you need. And the trunks shows are irresistible -- she really brings in some of the best local vendors. She offers classes ALL THE TIME -- you can always find one you'd like to take on her schedule. Everything from beginning knitting or crochet to full sweater projects. Hours are convenient to both the retired hobbyist and the working people. I just LOVE Yarnability!
Helpful staff. I couldn't remember the pattern name and didnt know how much yarn I needed and they looked it right up without me needing to ask. If I'm ever in town again I will be stopping back by.
I stop one afternoon because I wanted to learn to knit. Susan was very nice and sweet once I entered the store. She let me know when I could take classes and that Karen would take good care of me. When class time came around, Karen was very knowledgeable and an excellent teacher! I now knit every chance I can. The store is beautiful and the ladies are always welcoming!
Beautiful yarn and great selection. Classes there are always challenging and ensure you learn new techniques while enhancing your skills. I highly recommend this shop for all who love needlework. Owner is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
