This place is great. Stayed here with my partner during pandemic road trips and the staff could not be friendlier. Rooms are giving off a 90's vibe even tho I know they were redone after that, but clean and well appointed. I believe we interacted with three different members of the front desk staff and they were all very friendly and very helpful. Location is perfectly centralized to the city, but beware, no one in Charleston believes there's a pandemic happening, only the employees were consistently wearing masks. Outdoor space, not worried, but several guests were not very concerned indoors.

Emily was a great presenter. Dalton was very friendly and informative.
We walked into the room and the quality of the room was so bad we paid for another hotel. Wallpaper torn, smelled musty, bed was hard and squeaky, furniture was straight out of goodwill. The lobby was nice and the staff were friendly, but staff deserve better they outclass a shabby establishment.

Love staying at Lodge Alley Inn, the staff make you feel at home. Major plus is that this is right in the heart of old town Charleston!
We have stayed at Lodge Alley Inn numerous times and always have had a great experience. Everybody from the front counter staff, the house keeping staff and the bellmen are all exceptionally efficient and courteous.
