Well maintained, spacious grounds.

I lived here during my first year. I liked the easy access to Runk Dining Hall, the beautiful view of the grounds, and all the trees surrounding Hereford. I didn't like the long walk to get to my classes every day. Not only was it time consuming but it also isolated the Hereford area somewhat from the rest of life at UVA. Make sure to bring a bike if you plan to live here.
