My PCS move from Kansas City, MO to Richmond, VA was flawless. When they were first assigned, I was extremely concerned by the reviews online and emailed Charter about it. Their head of customer service called me within a day and alleviated my concerns. After all, in the midst of a PCS and everything that comes with it, people don't take the time to address things or write reviews about issues that don't piss them off. My move was legitimately flawless. The packing team was punctual and professional. The loading team was punctual and professional, and they had to deal with a pain of moving us out of a 19th story condo in downtown KC. Charter held my HHG at storage until the exact date that my wife and I moved into our new apartment in downtown Richmond, VA, and that crew that unpacked and set up furniture was, at that point, as expected - punctual and professional. Nothing damaged, nothing missing, no concerns. I would happily deal with Charter again. After getting settled and a final follow up from Charter today, I had a mental reminder to write this review. This is a solid team and they will handle your PCS logistics just fine.

Worst company I have ever dealt with! Not only did they break some of my items due to mishandling, but they also lost 13,000 worth of my belongings and isn't taking responsibility. In top of that, the company has ZERO customer service to support the customer! I had no support from my claims agent to help me get compensated. Truly the worst company! If I could give it zero stars I would. Go somewhere else!
So this company moved my stuff and after they unpacked it and four days later they sent me an email telling me I had over 18,000 LBS of HHG. Well that’s a lie and I was able to get proof that my HHG only weighed in the ballpark of 12,00 LBS. Brad Reineking is their chief of operations at first I thought he would do the right think and see how my move was handled but after promises of getting back to me I have gotten nothing no apology no hey we messed up nothing. And if you read the 5 star review look at the last name it’s the same as their chief of operations. I am working with the Army IG on getting these guys removed from any military moves. If these guys are ever sub- contracted to move you, absolute do not let them. They do not go by the book and can cost you money for being overweight on your move.
If you are in the military and get this company assigned to move your household goods, I’d recommend requesting another company immediately. We requested our moving dates 30 days out after receiving orders, and this company was unable to confirm whether they would be showing up to pack our household goods 48 hours prior to our requested packing dates. They failed us and I will never use them again.
