Just rude and not helpful. It’s too bad the ladies that work in this office can’t take the time to answer basic questions and then rush you off the phone. They treat you like you’re stupid although I’m pretty sure I could do their jobs with literally no experience. Good luck trying to get help here.
Seriously I fully understand the closure of the office to pay your property taxes because of covid-19 but paying online charges a fee!!!! and I already pay to much it is ridiculous thanks lewis county for nothing.
When we were moving to rural Lewis County, we used the online resources to find the boundaries of the property we were interested in and to look into its tax history. The staff at the office were so helpful when we stopped by to see about getting a copy of the paper records, although it was just before closing time and we weren't sure what to ask for. Thanks for making a house and land purchase easier!

The search parameters on your information relating to property are horrid, no matter how much information you have about what you are searching for it returns a lot of ambiguous information creating a huge waste of time looking for details from a detailed search. ACK!
