This was wonderful! Had a really great time. If you want a challenge, the 3 dune challenge is spectacular! Be prepared! Have water. But our 3 year old did it (with some protest), but it's amazing! If you look really close at one of my last pictures and zoom in, you can see Chicago!

My 8 year old child and I enjoyed exploring the winter wonderland of the Dunes. We braved sledding at Devil's Slide, we hiked a bit, and we checked out the Nature Center. The park is LOVELY covered in snow and ice

As always the Dunes are a great place to go and unwind. With all that has happened in 2020 the Indiana Dunes Park is a place where you can go and get back to nature so your mind and body can relax. The Park is clean and easy to navigate. There are different things that can be done ALSO plus it's a great place to hike thru the woods. The people you from the park that you interact with are knowledgeable and courteous

Great place for a weekend trip! We came in November, so it was cold. The cold kept other people away, so we had the trails and beach to ourselves. Another plus for coming in the off-season is the lack of payment due for entering the park. The 3 dunes hike was wonderful and had some fantastic views.

My healing place. That sounds cheesy and new age, I know, but go there and take a long hike and sit by the beautiful phenomena of a lake and a living dunes. Then tell me you don't feel better deep down. Look at pictures all day you'll still never get the sense of scale and diversity of the landscape until you just go explore the peaks and lowlands and listen to the waves.
