My experience was really great over the weekend I emailed Mr Gupta. He was very responsive. Immediately emailed to me. Even on the weekend. It was quite unbelievable. On Monday, it was the Presidents Day. All the banks were closed. Somehow I could get the money order from. Convenience Store 7 /11 . Indian consulate staff were very responsive, very courteous and they gave me the visa on the same day. To attend to urgent matters I was facing. Within 10 minutes of entering the consulate general on the 8th floor, I could get the visa and I walked out. It was such a pleasure. I hope Indian consulate general in Chicago continues to Keep up the good work and Continue to serve the Indian community.

I had a good experience there. Employees are very friendly. They will try their best to help you. You can get inside only after 9. There is no point in going early and waiting. you will be given token and called. Generally this office is not that crowded. It’s wired that the restrooms are locked

A BIG shout out to the entire Visa processing team for their excellent service. The best thing about them is that they respect your time. They were responding during weekends too. I approached the Chicago team as my daughter's travel to India in an emergency. The Visa team helped me in every step through the whole process. I never felt any pressure as I was getting quick responses to all my questions. Visa officer was very polite and experienced. I would highly rate and great to have such a fantastic team at our Indian consulate - Chicago office. Kudos to the entire Visa team! You guys rock.

We were traveling from Seattle to Delhi and were stuck at Chicago airport because our kid did not have appropriate visa type for India. CGI Chicago was really considerate and helpful. Officials Mr. Gupta, Mr. Singh and two other officials at the CGI office (one male and one female official) went above and beyond to help us get a visa for the kid on urgent basis in a day and made sure we experienced a smooth process in this difficult time. We are grateful to them and truly appreciate their cooperation.
