Chicago doesn’t have many Taiwanese restaurants, but Hello Jasmine really makes up for it! The food here is authentic tasting and tasty, and the boba teas are all very well made. There’s a large variety of fruit and milk teas that are equally good. For food, I love the bento boxes as the portion is quite large and it comes with a variety of side dishes including a tea egg, Taiwanese pickled cabbage, fried tofu, sausage, and veggies—just like how it is done in Taiwan!

Go for the grapefruit tea with mango bubble all the time! I can drink of this allllll day. The only con is their queue and service rate. You gotta wait a bit for your food and drinks. Other than that, it's a perfect place for you to take your date to after lunch/dinner.
Many people will send you to other bubble tea places in Chicago, but I went here on the recommendation of a co-worker from Chengdu. She raved about Hello Jasmine having bubble teas with much better tea flavoring than other popular spots. I found that to be true but what I liked even more is that even their sweet bubble teas (I'm an Oolong brown sugar or honey milk tea with tapioca bubbles myself) is not overpoweringly sweet. It's a great flavor balance with nice boba.
It was a wonderful experience. I ordered inside and the coworker were nice, and it was fast to be done.The inside is really beautiful. I recommend going there.
delicious and authentic taiwanese food! i highly recommend their popcorn chicken and their bento boxes — super tasty and very reasonably priced too! 10/10 recommend, i order from here on almost a weekly basis bc its so good.
Amazing high quality bubble tea! I’m hooked. The brown sugar bubble tea is my absolute favorite, I often have to get two different drinks because at least one of them HAS to be the brown sugar boba but I also wanna try new flavors too the cold noodles are also fantastic! Nice and simple and great for indecisive people like me. You definitely get your money’s worth here. My only gripe is I can’t really get on the whole “cheese foam” bandwagon thing because it seems a bit weird in drinks. I was impressed with how beautiful the inside was. This would be 5 stars, but I would like more protocols set in place for social distancing, after only a handful of minutes people were pilling up in the doorway. Goodbye Jasmine, until nextime.
Delicious brown sugar boba milk tea (yummy hot or iced!) and popcorn chicken 鹽酥雞 (highly rec spicy!) I don't rec the black sesame milk tea, because the sesame is chunky, which made it difficult to drink. All the workers are friendly and can accommodate Mandarin Chinese and English speakers.
