The beach is currently closed due to COVID, but the views are amazing. Especially if you go closer to the sunset and just sit on the grass and watch the sun go down while listening to the relaxing sounds of waves. 10/10 recommend
The triathlete beach next to the playpen. I'm the shadows of the city and behind the breakwater the water is calm and bacteria rich. Go if you must, but better waters abound.
Very nice beach. We walked from the Navy Pier and spent about 3 hours relaxing and playing in the water. The beach has a café with food and drinks (water, soda, and alcohol). There was an ice cream guy pulling his ice cream cart filled with lots of cold treats. Even though the beach is right by the big city, it's still a beautiful and relaxing place to go for some sun and fun. We had a great time and will definitely go back.
