This REI location - at Kingsbury & Eastman - has a great set of Bike Technicians. Also, their stock of bike-related accessories is notably extensive. I have Maintenance done here, and I also purchase handlebar tape/bike lights from here. Would highly recommend this location’s Bike Technicians to anyone who needs bike maintenance/repair services. One caveat: their bike-lock selection is average, to be honest ... either way, it’s a nice store for all cycling-related needs \u200d️.

Great customer service. All the staff is super friendly and helpful, especially Tabitha. She was fantastic. So nice and welcoming. Thanks Tabitha! I love how I was greated with a smile. The staff is also very knowledgeable. The great advice from them is worth making the trip to this store.
Review is for the dock and Chicago river access. Free street parking and a turn around on the street to unload and load nicely done, room for a couple of cars. Long aluminum gangway to a dock and an kayak launch to the river. Here is my gripe. It's not an ADA-EZ dock. At then end of the dock are 2 U shaped handles that work great for hanging on, but either you have to drop our kayak in the water and move it to the launch or you lift you boat over these handrails. Which some paddlers will not be able to do. I am very grateful for the free dock and river access, but I am not sure why they picked that style of kayak launch. I have seen other like that but not with those 2 handles. It's like they mounted the handles on the wrong side of the kayak launch. Seems they should be on the left side of your boat. We prevailed and got our boats and ourselves in the water to paddle.
Very helpful staff! I was able to get my winter coat here and other supplies. I was looking everywhere to find a warm winter coat and the people here were able to get me what I wanted. I even special ordered it when I couldn't find it in my size. I have and will come here again!
Curbside pickup is legit right now. You'll get an email when your pickup order is ready. You park, open email, click the \I'm here\ button, choose in store or curbside pickup, choose make and type of car and send. Store is notified of your arrival, a masked employee comes out for a drop off. Really great and highly appreciated.
