Everything is delicious! My fondest memory is light roast cafe latte that is just to die for! And this fantastic pastry similar to strudel that is just to die for! This elderly couple were enjoying what I think might have been a cold herring dish. Hope we can go back real soon so I can investigate that dish for myself.

Great soup! Superb Swedish Meetballs. To die for Stuffed Crepes with Lingonberry Jam. Would definitely recommend.

Loved the lingonberry Swedish pancakes. Scrambled eggs with cheese were ok. Didn't really like how the Swedish sausages tasted, but since it was my first time eating them, I'm not sure if that's what they're supposed to taste like.

Svea has been around for a very long time. Great food. I especially liked the care they took due to Covid-19.

From the whimsical tablecloths to the friendly service, brunch here was a treat from start to finish. I really wanted to try the potato pancakes, but needed a bit of protein as well, so I got the side of one egg (scrambled with cheese). The potato pancake was surprisingly different than those I’ve had before, it was as if it were a Swedish take on a pancake made with potato and not the thick, greasy latkes I was expecting. They were light and delicate, like a crepe, without much flavor on their own, but with sour cream and applesauce - perfect. A really enjoyable afternoon in Andersonville.

My wife and I were hungry for brunch this past Sunday after coming to town to see the Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade. We decided on this Swedish restaurant and had the Viking Breakfast, which consists of Falukorv sausage, eggs, potatoes, and Swedish pancakes (similar to a crepe). The service was great. The only downside was the table was very small and my wife dropped her toast, but the server brought her out fresh toast, so no harm done!

Consistently one of my favorite joints in the hood...perfect “greasy spoon” breakfast.
