My favorite place to eat a cupcake when I was a student at depaul. It’s very near Depaul Lincoln Park campus on Racine and Webster intersection. It was nostalgic to visit today after so long. They have so many options, you can customize your cupcakes. Nowadays only open for pickup and delivery. Would recommend if you love cupcakes. Check out their website for more info.

This local bakery is always a favorite for small or large sweets. My favorite is the vanilla cupcake with buttercream frosting. I would also recommend the peanut butter cookies. This place always makes me happy to visit.
My first time coming into this establishment only one day before Halloween. I purchased two puddings and four cupcakes. Last me just say this, the place was clean and I was helped by an associated right away. I had a problem with the place not accepting cash payments and only credit card payments. I felt customers should be given a choice of payment options. Now for the deserts, my father enjoyed the banana pudding and I had the chocolate pudding which was very rich in flavor but high in its sugar content. The devil's food cupcakes are the best particularly the devil's cake side, moist and rich in chocolate flavor. The vanilla yellow cake was too sweet and so was the buttercream icing. The other options was the devil’s food cake with dark chocolate icing. The devils food cake side of the cupcake was delicious but the the dark chocolate icing tasted like it came from a can. I heard folks on many cupcake shops on the comment board complain how the cupcakes made by these places are too sweet. I have to agree with that assessment, most of the places I visited making cupcakes are too sweet. I am still in the market of finding and trying a cupcake shop that has a balance in the two - the cake and icing side. This is a decent place but I am still looking for the perfect place
Service is always timely even when they have a full house. Definitely worth a return trip. Prices are appropriate. Makes me feel like I am back in Tucson.
Best vanilla cupcakes EVER! They are very moist and flavorful. Since I moved to Tampa....I wish they could ship happiness in a box to me. Every time I come home to visit, Sweet Mandy B's is on the list of MUST haves.
